 The women artisans of Valerian come from six villages across rural Bangladesh. They gather to work together in village spaces, sharing and learning together, making intricate and beautiful baskets from natural environmentally friendly resources. These ethnic minority artisans increase their self-worth and reduce discrimination through the generation of income from their traditional skills.
