This striking large Christmas angel is handmade from abaca fibre, she has lacy abaca wings and her red dress is decorated with spirals of abaca rope. Abaca fibre comes from the trunk of the Manilla hemp tree, these fibres are harvested, sun-dried and then woven. Handcrafted by skilled artisans working with Community Crafts Association of the Philippines (CCAP), our fair trade partner in the Philippines.
